Fulfilled by Merchant (FBM)

Fulfilled by Merchant (FBM) is a fulfilment method for Amazon sellers in which the seller is responsible for storing, packing, and shipping their products directly to customers. Unlike Amazon’s Fulfilled by Amazon (FBA) program, where Amazon handles logistics, FBM allows sellers to retain control over their inventory and delivery process.

FBM is often chosen by Amazon sellers who have their own robust logistics setup or use fulfilment providers such as Lama Fulfilment. It’s also suitable for sellers dealing with items that require special handling or products that move at a slower pace.

Fulfilled by Amazon (FBA)

Fulfilled by Amazon (FBA) is a service offered by Amazon that allows sellers to outsource storage, packaging, and shipping of their products. With FBA, sellers send their inventory to Amazon’s fulfilment centres, and Amazon handles the rest, including customer service and returns.

At Lama Fulfilment we can prepare your FBA shipments ensuring compliance with Amazon’s strict policies. Additionally, we can rework and / or relabel your products prior to them being sent to Amazon’s Fulfilment Centres.

Amazon Seller Fulfilled Prime

Seller Fulfilled Prime (SFP) is a program that allows Amazon sellers to offer Prime-eligible products while fulfilling orders directly from their own warehouse or a 3PL such as Lama Fulfilment, provided they meet Amazon’s stringent shipping and customer service requirements.

If you already have an account that is Seller Fulfilled Prime eligible, we will integrate Amazon Buy Shipping Services to ensure compliance with Amazon.

If your account is not SFP ready, we can discuss utilising Lama’s own Amazon retail brand – ShopAtHome – for your listings. This will give your products the Prime badge on your listings.

As we have a proven track record of Seller Fulfilled Prime eligibility, we can work with you through Amazon’s SFP trial programme, that invariably takes 30 days, giving you all the benefits of SFP eligibilty.

Amazon Seller Flex

Amazon SellerFlex is a fulfilment program tailored for sellers of heavy and bulky items, allowing them to store inventory in their own warehouses while utilizing Amazon’s logistics network for delivery. This model gives sellers control over their inventory and warehousing while Amazon manages transportation and customer delivery.

We have a number of clients who partake in the SellerFlex program and have daily collections from Amazon’s transportation network.

Our warehouse is effectively  an Amazon Fulfilment Centre node – SellerFlex products in our warehouse appear as if they are in Amazon’s warehouse infrastructure, therefore with more chance of winning the Buy Box.

Vendor Central

Amazon Vendor Central is a platform used by first-party (1P) sellers who act as suppliers selling their products directly to Amazon. Unlike third-party (3P) sellers who list products on Amazon Marketplace through Seller Central, Vendor Central users sell wholesale to Amazon, which then takes responsibility for selling and distributing the products to customers.

At Lama, we have extensive experience of fulfilling items for Vendor Central Purchase Orders as well as working with the Vendor Central platform. We streamline the Order Processing and Shipment Creation and Fulfilment allowing the Vendor  to focus on growing their brand.

Amazon Direct Fulfilment

Amazon Direct Fulfillment is a program where vendors ship products directly to customers on behalf of Amazon, functioning like a drop-shipping model. When a customer places an order, Amazon processes it and sends the details to the vendor, who handles the fulfillment and ships the product directly to the customer.

At Lama we handle both bulk and direct-to-consumer orders – the Amazon Direct Fulfilment model is basically a direct-to-consumer order via a Vendor Account – our integrations into Vendor Central ensures seamless transactions.

Our warehouse is open 6 days per week (Sunday – Friday) ensuring we capture any weekend orders. An order placed by 12pm on Sunday, on a next day delivery, will be picked, packed and shipped for delivery to the customer on Monday.

Order Fulfilment

Once we are satisfied that your Amazon listings are mapped and synchronised correctly and you’ve delivered your products to us, we can start fulfilling your orders.

Our system continuously recognises when an order is placed. An order will appear on our platform in less than 10 minutes after an order is placed.

Once an order appears, our fulfilment team will get to work on picking, packing, and shipping as per the conditions we have collectively set out.

On completion of the order, our platform sends order notifications to your Amazon channels, ensuring you are conforming to Amazon’s strict seller measurement policies.
