Brew2Bottle is an online home brew retailer selling kits to make wine, beer, cider and spirits, as well as bottles, yeasts and a whole plethora of home brewing equipment.

The business started out in a small shop in Northwich. Their vast knowledge about home brewing was plain to see, but they were struggling with online sales.

They had an old ecommerce shop that didn’t attract much traffic and their eBay and Amazon marketplace strategy was non-existent. Their systems were manual and after years of trying to make their online business work, they’d virtually given up as the effort far outweighed the return.

However, they still believed in the opportunity to grow their revenues and market share online. So they approached Lama Fulfilment.

After an initial consultation, we began working on:

  • A new website built on a successful ecommerce platform
  • Tidying up the content of each product on each sales channel
  • Using listing best practices to increase visibility
  • Ensuring all images are eye-catching and relevant
  • Packaging rules to ensure efficiency
  • Making Brew2Bottle products available on Amazon Prime, via our Seller Fulfilled Prime program
  • Integrating their products into our eBay store (including designing new brand-specific eBay product templates)
  • Engineering business rules (to ensure orders would be packed and shipped in the most economical and efficient way)
  • Mapping their products into our platform
  • Designing a process to ensure that perishable goods don’t go out of date

Upon receipt of their goods, we started shipping via the courier and service of their choice (based on the business rules we had set regarding size and delivery requirements). Thanks to the efficiencies of our multi-channel sales platform and real-time inventory management, Brew2Bottle immediately started doubling their sales and grew their online revenue from virtually £0 to over £150,000.
